Willard J. “Jimmy” Hall, 68, of Roseville, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his residence. One of 12 children, he was born on October 16, 1952 to the late Perry Eugene and Erma Sue Gavin Hall. Jimmy served as a Marksman for the United State Army and after returning home to Morgan County, held employment with several local area potteries in the Crooksville-Roseville area. He was a member of the Roseville American Legion Post 71 and Crooksville Eagles Aerie 1979 until they closed. Jimmy loved NASCAR and was an avid Dale Earnhardt and Ohio State Buckeye fan. Left behind to mourn his passing are his loving companion of 23 years, Mary Cox; children, Russell (Cheynne Bowers) Hall of Crooksville , Becky (David) Newell of Crooksville, Donald (Pauline) Starcher of Cannelville and Justin (Lindsey) Starcher of Roseville; grandchildren, Kaiser and Xavier Hall, Destiny, Kolton, Fate, Sienna, Kiersten, Nadine, David Newell Jr and several other grandchildren and step grandchildren; great grandchild, Bentley Evans; siblings, Larry D. Hall, William H. “ Bill” Hall, Charles E. “Chas” Hall, John P. Hall, Jeff A. Hall, Debbie Smith, Connie L. Dailey and Karen A. McGraw; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and a host of extended family; Special friends, Rod (Brenda) Stewart and Rachel “Betty” Cox, whom he loved and adored. He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Bonnie Jean Hall and brothers, Robert “Bob” Hall, Donald L. Hall, Steven M. Hall. Calling hours will be held Monday February 22, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday February 23, 2021 at 11am with Pastor John P. Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Roseville American Legion Post 71.
