George R. Martin, 58, of Crooksville, passed away Sunday February 7, 2021 at Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, after a sudden illness. He was born on April 11, 1962 in Zanesville to the late Robert and Helen Wheeler Martin. George spent most of his life working as an independent contractor and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Robin Ross Martin; children, Gary Lyons of Crooksville and Brandie Love of Zanesville; grandchildren, Dylan Love, Chaz Love, John Lyons; brothers, Robert “Bobby” Martin of Boston, Ma., Joseph Martin of Avondale; sisters, Lorette Hancock of Avondale, Mary Burns of Crooksville and Judy Kimble of Zanesville. Special Friends, Howard Peller and Mike Mizarek. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Gary Martin, Dennis Martin and Carol Eyer. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday February 13, 2021 from 2pm to 5pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville.
