Sue (Eppley) Fluharty, 76, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on September 4, 2018 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Fluharty was the daughter of Arthur and Lucy (Boring) Eppley and was born in Roseville, OH on May 25, 1942. She graduated from Roseville Senior High School in 1960 and attended Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Roseville, OH, where she met her husband, Richard Fluharty, whom she married on September 15, 1962. Ms. Fluharty worked as an inspector for Bata Shoes in Aberdeen, MD, for many years and also worked in retail for several years. Ms. Fluharty was a caring mother who enjoyed playing cards, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her nephew, Troy Morton. She leaves behind her sister, Linda Morton (Dave), her half-brother, Dale Eppley (Kathy), and three children, Suzette Taylor (Emmett), Sheryl Warner (Mike), and Richard Fluharty. She also leaves behind two nephews, Todd Morton and Dale Eppley, a niece, Kimberly Lehman, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Roseville, OH., with Pastor John Sowers officiating.
