Elaine “Sue” Bobo Gibbs Woerner, 71, of Zanesville, passed away Saturday December 1, 2018 at Genesis Health Care after an extended illness. She was born on March 8, 1947 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Donald R. and Alice Dunkle Bobo. Sue was a former employee of United Technology and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She is survived by her loving children, David R. Gibbs, Gene M. (Tracey Weaver) Gibbs, Scott B. (Kathy Moore) Gibbs, Travis L. Woerner, Angela Sue (Robbin Dunwoody) Dusenbery, April J. (Larry Morris) Devoll, Adonia D. (Terry) Grant and Ali T. Woerner; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; brothers, Larry Bobo and Raymond Bobo; a sister, Mary E. Bobo McDaniel; and first husband, David R. Gibbs, Sr. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Richard Woerner; brother, Danny Bobo; son-in-law, Andrew Dusenbery; and significant other, Chet Bywaters. Calling Hours will be held Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where a celebration of life will be held at 4pm with Pastor Gery Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery at a later date.
