William "Bill" F. Hayes Jr

William F. “Bill” Hayes Jr., 49, of Crooksville, passed away Monday June 28, 2021 at Genesis Healthcare Systems, Emergency Room. He was born on November 22, 1971 in Zanesville to William F. Hayes Sr. and the late Deborah Ralph Frank. He spent many years as a truck driver, in which he loved, until he was physically unable to drive truck anymore. In his most recent years, he worked on computers for Computer Plus, but hardly considered it a job as it was something that he enjoyed doing. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cheri McCabe Hayes of the home; sons, Hunter Hayes and Tanner Hayes both of Crooksville; daughter, Tiffany (Jason) Felter of Zanesville; grandchildren, Carson and Natalie Felter; sisters, Angie Hayes, Kelly Hayes and Jessica (Jason) Kirk; sisters -in-law, Jan (Mike) Ferguson, Diane (Tim) Thompson and Amy Merckle; brother-in-law, Chip (Tiffany) McCabe; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Greg and Maxine Cable; Step mother-in-law, Jo Barnhart; his faithful fur companion, Chico: and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Preceding him in death were his mother; brother, Jack; and father-in-law, C.L. McCabe. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday July 10, 2021 at Iliff United Methodist Church, 3299 Flint Ridge Road, Crooksville, Ohio 43731, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00pm with Curt Cable officiating.
