Opal V (Chappelear) Dunn

Opal V. Dunn, 87, of Roseville, passed away Friday October 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 19, 1929 in Zanesville to the late Oran and Lenora Mayle Chappelear. Opal was an avid antique collector, late becoming a dealer. She loved bowling and golf and was a member of the St .Paul’s Lutheran Church in Roseville, card club and Roseville Mother’s Club. She is survived by sons, Daniel “Boone”(Patty) Dunn and Jerry “Peppy” (Lori) Dunn of Roseville; a daughter, Susanne Dunn of Zanesville; Grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) McCulley, Jason (Jessica) Dunn, Jami (Keith) Harper, Brandon Dunn and Jake Dunn; great grandchildren, Madalyn, Jameson, Lynkin, Decklan, Colin, Jadyn, Jinson, Koen and Bently; sisters, Evelyn, Emma Lou and Ann; and sister-in-law, Nora Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carrell Dunn, who passed away, August 7, 2010; children, Roxanne Dunn and Jim Dunn; brothers, Gene and Leonard Chappelear; and sisters, Rosetta, Alice, Ella and Gloria. Friends may call Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5 to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 S. Main Street, Roseville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, near Roseville.
