Onieda M. Dusenberry Bush

Onieda M. Dusenberry Bush, of Crooksville, passed away Friday June 25, 2021 at SKLD Nursing Facility, New Lexington at the age of 92. She was born March 10, 1929 in Fixer, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Laura Noble Caldwell. Oneida worked as a finisher for Hull Pottery and retired after 25 years of service in the industry. She loved to play cards, especially rabbit and rummy and enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. Oneida was a Christian by faith and was a member of the Bear Run Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Robert “Bob” Dusenberry of Crooksville, Judy (Vernon Sowers) Covella of Crooksville, Linda (Ed) Thomas of Roseville; grandchildren, Jennifer (Shadd) Channel, Jesse (Kristen) Dusenberry, Jamie (Jeff) Nichols, Brad (Lisa) Houk, Eric Houk, Angie (Mark Smith) Johnson, Michelle (Jason) Daughtery and Tracey Covella; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Lovins of Corning and Euvonna Allen of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Bush; brothers, Albert, Gene and Elgee Caldwell; sisters, Ica Mays and Daisy Riley; and a son-in-law, Tom Covella. Family and Friends may call Tuesday June 29, 2021 from 11am to 2pm at ROSS-FRASH FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville. Graveside services will follow at 3pm in Zion Cemetery, Porterville with Roger Mills officiating.
