Melvin T. Ford, 79, formerly of Roseville, passed away Wednesday March 28, 2018 at OhioHealth Hospice Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born June 14, 1938 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Dale and Nellie Boyd Ford. Melvin had a love for coon and rabbit hunting, which began at the age of 6 and playing his harmonica. He was an avid antique and pottery collector, always looking to make a sale or find a good deal. He is survived by his wife, Leona Spires Ford of Zanesville; son, Randall L. Ford ( Robin Call) of Ashley, Ohio; daughter, Laurie Ann Ford of Auburndale, FL; step-son, Michael (Angie) Harper of Conesville; grandchildren, Amber Nicole Page, Brandon Lee (Amber) Ford and Justin B. Bradley; great grandchildren, Alexus Noe, Aubree Noe, Justin “JJ” Ford Jr and Alaina Ford; Brothers, Robert Ford of Delaware, OH; twin sister, Alice Stein of Delaware, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Betty Sheets. Family and Friends may call Monday, April 2, 2018 from 12pm to 2pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will begin at 2pm with Pastor Ivan Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
