Mary L. Stewart, 71 of Roseville, Ohio, passed away on December 8th, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on April 7th, 1953, at Zanesville, Ohio daughter of the late Thomas Burley and Nancy (King) Burley as well as Elmer Hardy. She worked at Mt. Aloysius in New Lexington as an activity specialist for several years and loved to read and crochet in her spare time. Mary is survived by her daughter Shasta Gaddis of the home and by sons Shane (Audrey) Dilley and James A (Summer) Haught , one grandson Shane Dilley Jr. special cousin Shelly Ore, grade school friend, Lloyd Nicholson and special friend, Vera Ihinger. Mary was such a loving person, she was known as "grandma" to several people even though not blood related. In addition to her parents Mary is preceded in death by her son, David Dilley Jr. and brother, Elmer (Kathy) Gaus. Friends may call on Saturday December 14th , 2024, from 2pm until time of services at 4pm with the Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating at the Roseville Chapel of Ross-Frash Funeral Home at 33 N. Main Street Roseville, Ohio. A dignified cremation will be observed and a private burial at Zanesville Memorial Park will take place at the convenience of the family.
