Martha (Cox) Hayes

Martha Hayes, 61, of Roseville, passed away, Friday, January 13, 2023, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born December 17, 1961, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Leroy and Rachel “Betty” Payne Cox. Martha was a simple woman who loved hanging out and interacting with friends and family. She loved planting flowers, taking great pride in her yard, visiting Tennessee, and checking out old cars. Martha spent most of her lifetime in the Cannelville-Roseville working in local area potteries and was a member of the Roseville American Legion Post 71 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her loving children, Mark (Baylea) Trout, Brice Hayes Jr, Lori Hayes, and Jody Hayes; grandchildren, Parker Trout, Alexia, Landon, and Dylynn Ihinger; Talan and Chevy Bailey; sisters, Mary Cox, Matty (James) Riley, Tammie Clark; brothers, Charles (Linda) Cox, Donald (Barbara Thomas) Cox and Russell Cox; father of her children, Brice Hayes Sr and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin (Marcia) Cox; aunt, Rosie Lewis and uncle Gene Payne. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023,  from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Al Laese officiating. Cremation will follow with burial to take place in Rose Hill Cemetery in the future.
