Crooksville- Kenneth Hazlett, 77, of Crooksville, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House after an extended illness. Born October 26, 1938 in Somerset, he was the son of the late Robert James and Mary Elizabeth Yarger Hazlett. Kenneth worked for 16 years as a commercial tire professional for Cheney Tire and later as a truck driver for MPW. One of his greatest accomplishments was serving our country as a proud member of the National Guard for 23 years and he was a member of First Hope United Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Molly Hazlett of Crooksville; sons, Glenn (Misty Street) Hazlett of New Lexington, Kenneth Hazlett of Crooksville, Timothy (Jodi Bosworth) Hazlett of Crooksville; brothers, Roy, Paul, Harold, Charlie, Ralph, Johnny; sisters, Marion, Hazel, Helen, Rita, Nita, Dorothy, Karen, Kathy, Linda, Betty; grandchildren, Kelly, Tori, Bayleigh, Kristen, Brett, Michelle, Patrick, Warren, Kayla, Taylor; Great Grandchildren, Devon and Bentley. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Karolyn Harbaugh Hazlett; and a sister Jean. Calling hours will be held from 5pm to 8pm Thursday November 5, 2015 and Friday November 6, 2015 from 12 pm to 2 pm at ROSS-FRASH FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Gay Blau and Pastor Tony Richard officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
