Kenneth Eugene Embrey Sr.

Kenneth Eugene Embrey Sr., 82, of Crooksville, passed away at 12:41 am, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born November 12, 1933 to the late Russell and Evelyn Plant Embrey. Kenneth was an avid lover of the outdoors and a faithful member of the NRA, Christian by faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dollie Tolley Embrey; children, Kenneth (Judith) Embrey Jr. of Rose Farm, Steve (Burma) Embrey of Crooksville; daughters, Leura (Carroll) Hale of McConnelsville, April (Randy) Riley of Malta; grandchildren, Chad (Jamie) Embrey, Angela (Matt) Thatcher, Erin (Casey) Coffey, Sara Lundell, Misty (Darrin) Carpenter, Matthew (Jessica) Riley,  Marcus ( Courtney) Riley, Marianna (Daniel Rhinehart) Riley and Christopher Head; great grandchildren, Bryce, Blake, MaKenzie, Kobe, Brynn, Bauer, Ada, Wyatt, Jett, Essie, Aubree, Hadley, Bayne, Tyler, Taylor,Chazmin, McShayne, Chrystah Belle, Jada, Blake, Gracie; brother, Jesse Embrey; sisters, Viola Malcolm, Evelyn Bates, Donna Miller, Phyllis Embrey, Rita Omen and Sue Toki; and special friends, Don Boring, Herb Simms, Roger Eveland. Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Marla Bradley; granddaughter, Leura Mae Hale; sister, Goldie Bolyard; and brother, Bill Embrey.  Friends may call Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley St. Crooksville, where funeral services will be held, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1pm with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery.
