Jesse E. Yates

Jesse E. Yates, 76, of Roseville, passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021 at his residence, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Gilmer, Texas on July 21, 1945, the son of the late Lonnie G. and Lilly Moon Yates. Jesse, along with his wife Rhonda, owned the Luncheon Muncheon for over 30 years, where he developed multiple friendships with his customers. He took pride in their restaurant and hospitality, making you feel welcomed and at home. Regardless of how busy it was, Jesse always took the time to have a conversation with diners and greet you with his infectious smile. In his time away from the Lunch N Munch, he enjoyed fishing at the river and gambling. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Rhonda Pitcock Yates; daughters, Tammy (Michael) Yates, Christina (Matthew) Reece, Jessica (Corby) Sturgill; son, James (Mariana) Yates; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Ayden, Zachary Yates, Hendrix Reedy, Reamington Reece, Bretta Reece and Parker Sturgill; brothers, Lonnie (Lulu) Yates, Thomas (Donnie) Yates; and sister Letha (Bud) Miller; He was preceded in death by two sons, Troy Yates and Philip Michael Yates; and his parents. Calling hours will be Saturday October 9, 2021 from 2pm to 5pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 5pm with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating.
