Jerry L. Henkel, 85, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at 8:13 am at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Canton, Ohio on June 24, 1936, he is the son of the late Henry and Mary Henkel. Jerry worked as a Supervisor for Columbia Cement before retirement. He could be described as stubborn and bullheaded to those that knew him, but deep down he adored his family and never stopped missing his wife, Leona, that passed away on July 18. Jerry loved watching family feud, Fox News channel and to say he was a mere Trump supporter would be an understatement. He is survived by a son, Jerry (Alisha) Henkel; daughters, Sherry (John) Buckridge, Susie Walker, Cindy Foreman, Kathy (Tom) Robison; grandchildren, Jason (Misti) Henkel, Melanie Buckridge, Jessica (Jason) Keck, Tommy Robison, Ashley Hina and triplets, Wyatt, Kylie, Kaylie Henkel, Anastasia Carson, Jerry Henkel Jr; 8 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his wife, Leona: parents; daughter, Sally Jo; and son-in-law, Jimmy Walker.
