Jayla M. Wyatt, 23, of Crooksville, lost her life Tuesday April 27, 2021, in Zanesville, as the result of a senseless act of violence. Born on June 27, 1997 in Zanesville, she is the daughter of Jennifer Forgrave and John Wyatt Sr and a 2016 graduate of Philo High School. Jayla was a fun- loving girl who enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest extent. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, going mudding and listening to music. Jayla was a proud mother and cared very much for her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Jennifer (Troy Junn) Forgrave and John Wyatt Sr; sons, Ashton Matthew James Corwin and Jaxon Allen Lee Wyatt; brothers, John Wyatt Jr and Jack Wyatt; sister, Jennifer Wyatt. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Robert (Connie) Forgrave and paternal grandparents, Barb (Jack) Wyatt. Calling hours will be held Monday May 3, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 7pm with Darren Tolbert officiating.
