James R. Hartman, 53, of Zanesville, passed away in the early morning hours of January 1, 2020 after a sudden accident. Jimmy was a kind-hearted and loving guy that enjoyed life. When he wasn’t working at his job or on cars, he could be found hunting, fishing or swimming. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved to laugh and listen to his Hip Hop music. Jimmy was born on May 23, 1966 in Zanesville, to the late Gary and Donna (McIntire) Hartman. He is survived by his children, Christopher Hartman, Joshua Spears and Jordan Spears; brother, Trevor Hartman; sister, Debbie Morris; Fiancee and best friend, Crystal “Cricket” Mullins; step-children, Robert, Kirsten and Heather Spears; mothers of his children, Melanie Rush and Amy Spears. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Christy Post Hartman. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future, with a date and location to be decided, where friends and loved ones can come to offer support and share stories with memories of Jimmy.
