Ina J. "Jeanie" Hiles, lovingly known to all as Jeanie, 64, passed away peacefully under the care of Genesis Hospice, Morrison House of Zanesville, on September 2, 2023. Born on November 6, 1958, also in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Everett Hill and Juanita North Hill. Jeanie was the cherished mother of sons, Chad (Marcy) Inman and Ryan (Katie Harper) Inman. Nothing filled her with more pride and happiness than her role as a grandmother to Levi, Landon, Cash, Maddox, Carsen, Layla, Brayden, Ethan, Maysin, Lia, Tyler, Alysa, and Walker. She was also blessed to know her great-grandchildren, McCoy, and Talyn. Jeanie's love for her family was boundless and she was the heart that kept everyone together. She is survived by her brothers, Charlie Hill and Bill Hill, and sisters, Margaret Bankes, Ann (Bob) Pletcher, and Sue (Randy) Bowen. She also leaves behind her special friend, Steve "Butch" Tokie, and her faithful fur companion, Bella. Jeanie was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Inman Wells, her husband, Steve "Gopher" Inman, grandchild, Dalton Wells, her brothers, Roger Hill, Everett Hill Jr, Isaac "Ike" Hill, her sisters, Evelyn Pletcher, Silvia "Toby" Burns, and her beloved fur baby, Sandy. Jeanie was a dedicated employee at Nelson McCoy Pottery, where she worked for many years. Jeanie's love for her grandchildren was perhaps her most defining characteristic. She would light up at the mention of their names and took immense pride in their achievements, big or small. Her love was unconditional, and she was their biggest cheerleader. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 11am – 1pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 1pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Iliff Cemetery next to her family. You may sign the register book at www.ross-frashfuneralhomes.com
