Gerry Pulley, 67, of Hilliard, was a man whose laughter filled every room and spirit was as vibrant as the tunes of The Beatles he so adored, has unexpectedly, taken his final bow, on May 2, 2024 at OhioHealth, Doctors Hospital & Emergency Department in Columbus. Born in Culver City, California, on August 20, 1956, to the late Ronald and Ruth (Ferris) Pulley, Gerry's journey through life was as colorful and dynamic as the films of his favorite actor, Al Pacino. He was known for his infectious smile and the gift of gab, could charm his way into any conversation and leave an indelible mark on your heart. He was the life of every party, a man who never missed an opportunity to tease his loved ones in the most endearing way. For 32 years, he was the loving companion of Pamela Taylor, who he endlessly adored. Gerry is also survived by his cherished mother-in-law, Marcia Taylor, and a band of siblings and in-laws who were more friends than relatives: Kim Mohler, Kandi and Kirt Frash, Kerri and Tom Landerman. His nieces and nephews—Ashlee Ingold, Chad and Mandy Mohler, Aaron and Marissa Mohler, Brandon and Vanessa Frash, Kyle and Caitlin Frash, Zach and Madison Frash, Mariah and Erich Dozer Frash, Jordan and Robert Beckner, Justin and Kylee Landerman, Jacob and Ashley Landerman, Jaret and Cassie Landerman; great nieces and nephews, leaving a legacy of laughter and love with Jayce, Jaxon, Mikey, Harmony, Noah, Randy, Bentley, Leighton, Braxton, Ana, Nylee, Kohen, Ava, Emma, Alivia, Luke, Harper, Nora, Brenleigh, and Ensley. Gerry was Methodist by faith, and he carried his beliefs not on his sleeve but in his actions—spreading kindness and good cheer wherever he went. His passion for older music and movies was only surpassed by his love for the people around him. An avid fan of The Beatles, he could often be found humming their tunes or sharing little-known facts about his favorite songs. He was the type of guy who could find humor in any situation and turn a simple gathering into an unforgettable event. Gerry is now reunited in heaven with his late parents, Ronald and Ruth (Ferris) Pulley; his father-in-law, Alvin Taylor, and brother-in-law, Randy Mohler.
