Doris Marilee Starcher, 84, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully, Wednesday March 15, 2023, at Genesis Healthcare after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late James W. and Norma Jean (Davis) McGee and was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 6, 1939. She was formerly employed with Terrace IGA where she held the position of cashier and later with Gibson Meat Packing. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and tending to her flowers. She leaves behind her loving son, Greg Starcher of Roseville, brother, James (Sandy) McGee of Nashport and several friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarien Starcher who passed away January 2, 1974, son, Jeffery Starcher, and her parents. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, with services beginning at 1:00 pm with Stan McHenry officiating.
