Cynthia K. Church, 78, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, in the very same town in which she was born on January 26, 1947. Cindy was the beloved mother and grandmother of a large and loving family. She is survived by her children, Mark (Berndetta) Church, Doug (Sherry) Church, Tammy (Ralph) Donaldson, and Judy (Bill Arnett) Church, several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A woman of faith and fellowship, Cindy was a dedicated member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Zanesville. Her involvement in church activities and her commitment to her faith were sources of comfort and strength throughout her life. Beyond her family and faith, Cindy had a passion for the simple pleasures in life. She was known for her keen eye for finding a good deal at a yard sale or an auction, a skill she took great pride in and often shared with her children and grandchildren. Her love for bargain hunting was only matched by her love for Myrtle Beach, where she spent countless hours enjoying the view and the tranquility of the ocean. Her professional career entailed working as manager for Nickles Bakery in Zanesville. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Bonnie (Brannigan) Fitch, and her brothers, James Fitch and John Fitch. No public services will be observed, and a dignified cremation will take place under the direction of Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville.
