Cameron D. Garner, 58, of Crooksville, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Genesis Healthcare, after an extended illness. He was born May 29, 1963, in Zanesville to Mary Ann Riffle Garner and the late Lloyd P. Garner. Cameron was a truck driver and mechanic by trade. He enjoyed tinkering with vehicles and grilling for his friends and family. Surviving is his wife, Christina Moreland Garner; children, Meagan Garner of Newark and Jareid (Alyssa) Garner of Crooksville; stepchildren, Jessica (Ron) Johnson and Joshua (Stacey) Abner; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Garner (Chris) Hillyard of Lancaster, Julie Vinny-Payne of New Concord and Valerie Norris of Florida; mother-in-law, Audrey Moreland of Roseville; sister-in-law, Kathy Moreland of Crooksville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Cliff (Cede) Riffle, paternal grandparents, Glen (Edith) Garner; and father-in-law, Charles D. Moreland. Per his wishes, private services will be observed with a Celebration of Life to be held in the spring.
