Brian D. Clawson

Brian D. Clawson, 45, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly Friday October 22, 2021 at Genesis Healthcare after a sudden illness. He was born on November 24, 1975 in Zanesville to Terri Bowen Clawson and the late Dennis C. Clawson. Brian taught GED classes at Mid-East Career Center and post graduate job placement at Zane State College. He was a man of Faith and attended Rolling Plains United Methodist Church, where he was a Servant Member for 10 years and a member of their Christian Life Group. Brian is survived by his son, Ethan Dennis Clawson; mother, Terri Bowen Clawson of Somerset; brothers, Ken Clawson of McConnelsville, Kevin Clawson of Charleston, SC and Keith Clawson of Canal Winchester; niece and nephews, Nicholas Clawson, Aaron Clawson and Katie Clawson; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Clawson; maternal grandparents, Alva (Pauline) Bowen and paternal grandparents, Perley Clawson, Vera Hill and Janet Clawson. Friends may call Sunday October 31, 2021 from 3pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm at Rolling Plains United Methodist Church, 3350 Moxahala Park Rd., Zanesville, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11am Monday November 1, 2021 with Pastor John Alice officiating.
