Bonnie "Jean" Beckner

Bonnie “Jean” Beckner, 75, of Roseville, passed away Tuesday October 26, 2021 at Genesis Healthcare after complications of Covid19. She was born on September 13, 1946 in Zanesville, to the late Robert and Bonnie Smith Fluhart. Jean spent most of her life as a homemaker and caring for her family. Affectionately known as Nanny, her grandkids were a major part of her life. She enjoyed attending their sporting events, watching birds, reading, and spending time with family. Jean loved admiring flowers and worshiping the Lord. She read the Bible daily and enjoyed listening to hymns and gospel music. Jean was a member of the Roseville Church of the Nazarene until its closure and most recently attended the Brush Creek Chapel for worship. She is survived by her loving children, Tammy (Kent) Papageorge and Bob (Sadie) Beckner; adoring grandchildren, Brooke (Jason) Hollingshead, Christopher (Mindy) Papageorge, Robert (Jordan) Beckner, Tyler (Cheyenne) Beckner; dear great grandchildren, Madeline, Emmalyn, Max, Kaiha Hollingshead, Natalie and JR Papageorge, Brylie and Luke Beckner, Ava, Emma, Alivia; brothers, Doug and Victor Fluhart; and special dog that she loved, Abby. She was preceded by her husband, Douglas Allen Beckner; parents and sister, Kathy Fluhart. Calling hours will he held Friday October 29, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 11am on Saturday October 30, 2021 with Pastor Larry Harper and Pastor Clay Hannum co-officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville. She is finally resting with Jesus and Dougie.
