Barbara A. Orr, 84, of Crooksville, passed away peacefully, Thursday March 16, 2023 at her home after an extended illness. She was employed with JC Penney in the cash office where she was responsible for processing payroll for over 42 years. Barbara was a former Eastern Star Matron, attended the New Hope United Methodist Church and had a deep love for travel with Ireland being her favorite destination. She was born on November 25, 1938, in Crooksville to the late Russell Lee and Lois Fitzpatrick. Barbara is survived by her husband of 21 years, Myron Orr of the home; loving and only son, Thomas (Trina Taylor) Bolyard of Crooksville; grandchildren, Erica (Chris Crawford) Bolyard, Lindsey Bolyard, Tosha Bolyard and Tommy Bolyard; five great grandchildren, Tyler Szoke, Mackenzie Crowthers, Bella Crowthers, Jozie Bolyard and Oaklynn Bolyard; a great-great grandchild, Brinlynn Szoke. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hugh Bolyard, her parents, and a brother, James Lee. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 11:00 am – 1:00pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery
