Almira “Zell” Dickerson, 82, of Moxahala, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at New Lexington Care Center. She was born in Junction City February 12, 1933 to the late Frank G. and Daisey L. Curry Randolph. Zell spent most of her life being a home maker and a renowned cake baker. One of her most prized accomplishments was the 1250 pound Perry County shaped sheet cake she created for Sheriff Tom Wilson’s retirement party. The cake fed over 4,000 people. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Michael (Lisa) Dickerson and John Dickerson of Moxahala, Lesia (Dale) Hiles of Crooksville and Tina (Chuck) Coey of Junction City; grandchildren, Devon and Tyler Hiles, Rob, Christina, Charles, Paul, and Cassie Coey, Michael and Cody Dickerson; a brother, Perry (Loretta) Randolph and a sister, Patricia (Larry) Short. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dickerson Jr; brothers, Jim Randolph, Ed Randolph; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah (Paul) Arter and a baby sister, Leona Mae. Friends may call Wednesday, September 2 from 4 to 8 pm at ROSS-FRASH FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley St., Crooksville, where funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3rd at 11 am with Pastor Conard Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery
