Alan J. Livensperger, 79, of Galena, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday September 5, 2021 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born on March 8, 1942 in Cleveland, to the late John and Joanne Pestel Livensperger. Alan proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a small business owner of Pronto Paving and Plowing. Left to mourn his passing are twin children, Alan Livensperger Jr of Jacksonville, Florida and Alisa Livensperger of Minoa, New York, son, Lynn Newland of North Augusta, South Carolina and daughter, Denise Diyanni of Galena, Ohio; grandchildren, Hunter Newlon, Lauren Bintz, Lyndsey Bintz, Jessica Diyanni, Austin Diyanni, Jospeh Diyanni, Abby Diyanni, Amanda Newland, Mara Newland and Aaron Newland; great grandchildren, DeShawn Newland, Mackenzie Newland and Harper Newland; brothers, John, Keith, Robert Livensperger; sister, Pamela Proxy Zurbrick. Graveside services will be held at 12:00pm Wednesday September 8, 2021, in Mt Horeb Cemetery, Roseville, where military honors will be presented by the Roseville American Legion Post 71.
