Alan D. Ferguson, 62, of Somerset, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Genesis Emergency Room, Somerset. He was born on September 6, 1960, to Frederick and Barbara (Rupe) Ferguson at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. Alan loved music and could name the song and artist to most any song. He worked as a machinist in central Ohio for many years, wasna avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals as well as a member of the former Crooksville Eagles until its closure. Alan is survived by his parents, Fred (Barbara) Ferguson; sister, Marilyn (Ryan Duemmel) Gleason; brother, Keith Ferguson; aunts and uncles, Margie (Robert) Wiseman, Gary (Sue) Rupe, Earl Rupe, Paula (Mark) Dusenberry, Karen (Bud) Wiggins, Addison (Marty) Ferguson, Sharon (Tim) White; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frederick Scott Ferguson; maternal grandparents, Wade (Rosa) Rupe, paternal grandparents, John (Dessie) Ferguson; aunt, Becky King; uncle, Randy Rupe and cousin, David Wiseman. Friends may call Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 4pm – 7pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 7pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating.
