William F. Miller, 81, of Roseville, died unexpectedly at his home on July 11, 2021. Bill was born April 4, 1940 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Ed and Lillie Miller. He was a veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Bill was a retired coal miner from Peabody Coal Company and formerly employed by Cooper Standard, New Lexington. He was an expert fisherman, hunter and grew a beautiful garden every year that he shared with family and friends. Bill excelled at Hare Scrambles dirt bike racing with his son and grandson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Betty Greene Miller; daughter, Susan (Kevin) Ault of Crooksville; son, Jim (Michele) Miller of Little Hocking; sister, Anna Skidmore; grandchildren, Erin (Bryan) Davis, Ryan Berkfield, Megan (Kyle) Jones and Lauren Ault; great granddaughters, Liliana Davis, Gillian Hutchison, and Rosalind Jones and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son, William F. Miller Jr. and brother, Eddy Miller. Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at Iliff Cemetery, McLuney, with Pastor Mike Matheny officiating.
