Sharon Kay
(Sutton) Anderson
May 16, 1945 — Dec 7, 2024
Sharon Kay Anderson, 79, of Roseville (Cannelville) passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, at Altercare of Somerset. She was born on May 16, 1945, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Walter and Eloise (Roberts) Sutton. Sharon's journey through life was marked by a profound dedication to her family. Her 54 years of marriage to her beloved husband, Farrell Anderson, were filled with unwavering partnership and love. Together, they created the legacy of the family, including their son, Aaron (Peggy) Anderson, their grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to Sharon's life. Although she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Ross, Sharon's memory lives on through her son-in-law, Jerry Ross, and the family they cherished. As the heart of her family, Sharon embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and devotion. She cared deeply for her family, finding her greatest happiness in the laughter and milestones of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sharon is survived also by her brothers and sisters-in-law Donald (Debbie) Sutton and David (Linda) Sutton. Beyond her family life, Sharon had a passion for crossword puzzles, a hobby that not only entertained her but also kept her mind sharp. Her love for puzzles was only matched by her love for tending to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nurturing them with the same care and attention she gave to every aspect of her life. Calling hours will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, from 11am – 1pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville where funeral services will begin at 1pm, with burial to conclude in Zanesville Memorial Park. The Anderson family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Buckeye Hospice for the kind and considerate care they gave to Sharon.
