Ronald L. Eveland Sr, 74, of Crooksville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in the care of Genesis Healthcare Systems, Zanesville. He was one of 2 sons born to the late Floyd Eveland and Bernice (Lemity) Eveland Brown. Ronald dedicated his life to his family, work, and brothers in the lodge. He worked for Owens-Illinois Brockway, where he was a devoted boss, friend, and leader, never missing a day of work in his 43 years with the company. Ronald was a proud member of the Peerless Lodge 591 F & AM and The Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite. He was a lover of sports cars, mainly mustangs and was overjoyed with love for his family, travelling to Tennessee and enjoying a snack of sweets were among some of his favorite pastimes. Ronald was a Christian by faith and a member of the Deavertown United Methodist Church. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 55 years, Lucretia Eveland; sons, Ronald (Lilly) Eveland Jr and Shawn Eveland; grandchildren, Colton Eveland and Brandon (Anissa) Eveland; great grandchildren, Avereigh, Shayde, Rhyleigh, and Lukas Ronald Eveland. He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents; brother, Gary Eveland and stepfather, Joseph Brown. Private Masonic services will take place with graveside burial to follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
