Robert E. "Bob" Turner Sr, 73, of Crooksville, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his residence. He was the son of the late Robert Turner and Mildred Sloan Turner King (and raised by Dessel O. King), born September 3, 1944 in Crooksville. Bob was a retired Electrician with the IBEW Local 71 and bus driver. He was a member of the McConnelsville Eagles Aerie 2187 and The Sons of the American Legion Post 726 in Fultonham. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Barbara Kyler Turner; son, Robert (Anita) Turner Jr; daughter Jenny (Tim) Lewis; Step children, Mark (Nikki) Evans and Michelle (Keith Kern) Evans; sisters, Daisy Ramona Neff, Shirley Singer, Gloria Houk and Lenora Ruth Mullins; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond King and Dewayne King; sister, Jewel King; and grandson, Levi Alexander. Family and Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Tuesday November 21, 2017 at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville with the McConnelsville Eagles service beginning at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday November 22, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.
