Randall
Naragon
Oct 24, 1959 — Jun 19, 2026
Randall “Randy” Naragon, age 66, of Ironspot, Ohio, passed away on June 19, 2026,in Columbus, Ohio, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on October 24, 1959, in Zanesville, Ohio, and lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He spent much of his life building, creating, and contributing to the work around him with skill and determination. He worked for multiple years at Burnham Boiler, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and dependable character. Later, he pursued his craft as a steel erector through his own company, R & J Erectors, where he took great pride in the projects he helped bring to life. Among his most cherished accomplishments was his work on the New Lexington Colosseum at the Perry County Fairgrounds, a project that stood as a lasting reflection of his ability and dedication. Randy took great pride in the life he built and in the people who shared it with him. He was the loving life partner of 30 years to Judy Anders, and their long companionship was a source of strength and comfort throughout his life. He also held close the friendships he formed over the years, including special friends Ray Simmons, Billy Rosser, and Brandon Rosser, who were important parts of his extended circle of support and fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Jean (Hiles) Naragon, and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins who had gone before him. A man of the outdoors, Randy found peace and purpose in the natural world. He enjoyed hunting game, fishing, and ginseng, and he knew the wilderness better than most avid outdoorsmen. Whether he was in the woods, by the water, or simply taking in the quiet of the land, he felt most at home surrounded by nature. His knowledge, patience, and experience made him a trusted companion in the outdoors, and his appreciation for the land was one of the many things that defined him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 26, 2026, at an undisclosed location. For further details please contact Brandon Rosser at (740) 819-0208.
