Ralph O Erwin Sr.73, of New Lexington passed away Monday, July 6 at Genesis  Hospice Morrison House. He was born June 6, 1942 in Zanesville to the late Andrew and Martha Shiflet Erwin.  Ralph was a coal miner at Peabody Coal Company for several years and an over the road truck driver in years to follow.  He is survived by sons; Ronald Wayne (Anita)   Scheitler Jr. of Malta and Ralph (Vickie) Erwin Jr. of New Lexington; Daughters, Ronda (Leon) Davis of New Lexington; Mary Jane Erwin of New Lexington; Kim (Randy Blosser) Erwin of New Lexington; Christina Tucker of Crooksville. Brothers; James (Linda) Erwin, Paul (Carolyn) Erwin, Arley Erwin. Sisters; Carolyn (Harold) Merola, Debbie (Mike) Myers, Nema (Thomas) Bobo.  14 grandchildren and numerous great          grandchildren. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary Cocherl Erwin. Brothers; Edward (Gloria) Erwin, John (Juanita) Erwin. Sisters; Ila "May" (Red) Brown, Cora (Ralph) Arbaugh, Elizabeth (Walter) Bobo. The family wants to give a special thank you his best friend, card partner, and caregiver Pam Davis of New Straitsville.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 11 am until the time of service at Ross-Frash Funeral Home 207 Burley Street Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 1pm with Pastor William Syfert officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville .
