Paul E. Dorsey, 83, of Crooksville, died at 6:22 pm Wednesday December 26, 2018 surrounded by his loving family after a long courageous battle with Cancer. He was born June 4, 1935 in Rushville, Ohio to the late Forrest J. and Nora Swauger Dorsey. Paul worked as a truck driver retiring locally from RMX and was a member of the Teamsters Local 637. Surviving him are his sons, Bob (Kathy) Dorsey of Commercial Pointe, Ohio and Michael (Pam Frye) Dorsey of Crooksville; his companion of the last 23 years and the love of his life, Marlyn, who he adored; grandchildren, Josh (Michele) of Powell, Karrie (Aaron) Martin of Ashville, Shane (Heather) of Crooksville, Owen of Columbus, Paul Jacob of Zanesville and David (Dani) of Crooksville; nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maxine Hinkle and nieces, Connie and Edgar "Eck" Thomas and Ruth Anne Jewett. Calling hours will be held Monday December 31, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with Bobby Sidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Cemetery.
