Neil W. Hutchins, 70, of Crooksville, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at New Lexington Care & Rehab Center after an extended illness. He was born June 19, 1952, in Zanesville to the late Fred and Doris Sprankle Hutchins. Neil was a former employee of the Village of Crooksville where he worked at the water plant. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends. He is survived by his loving companion of 40 years, Violet O'Neal; Three biological children, six stepchildren and two grandsons that he was raising as his own; numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn Liff, Vickie Smith and Ronda Williamson; brothers, William Hutchins and Patrick Hutchins; special friends, Mike (Tammy) Carter and Mike (Susie) Griffith. Preceding him in death were his parents, and brothers, Orvil Hutchins, Freddie Rolland Hutchins, and Terry Hutchins.
