Nancy J. Barker, 91, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at her residence, Wednesday, March 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, after an extended illness. She was born on December 21, 1931, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harold and Betty (Cahill) Reed. Nancy spent most of her life as a homemaker and loved reading, working crossword puzzles. She was an avid journal writer and loved and adored country singer Alan Jackson. Nancy is survived by her children, Harold (Tina) Barker, Richard Barker, George Barker, Roger (Jennifer) Barker, Patty (Frank Macenko) Boring and Nancy Ann Likovic; 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Donna Reed. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Barker; father of her children, John C. Barker; grandchild, Desiree Barker; parents; sister, Velma Baker, favorite uncle, Charles "Bud" Cahill, favorite niece, Betty Lou McNeal, a daughter-in-law, Barb Barker and son-in-law, Gary Likovic Sr. Calling hours will be held Friday March 31, 2023, from 2pm to 4:30 pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where funeral services will begin at 4:30 pm with Pastor Chuck Kuhn officiating.
