Michael R. Bishop, 45, of McConnelsville, passed away Monday April 16, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born March 7, 1973 in Zanesville, the son of Raymond Edward Bishop and the late Mary Annetta Thomas Bishop. Michael was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR and he loved riding his 4 wheeler. Surviving are his father, Raymond; son, Troy Bishop; daughter, Maddison Bishop; sisters, Molly (Scott) Gussler and Melissa (Mike) Ratliff; nieces, Kayla Todd, Morgan Gussler ; nephew Logan Ratliff; and a great nephew, Knox Gill. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary. Family and Friends may call Sunday April 22, 2018 from 2 pm to 4pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville. A dignified cremation will take place with burial to follow in Iliff Cemetery at a later date.
