Merlyn F. Wolfe, 81, of Roseville, passed away Thursday August 31, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare Center in Zanesville. Born October 28, 1935 in Zanesville to the late James and Jocie Noel Pletcher Elson, Merlyn spent most of her life as a homemaker and was a devout member of the Grace Chapel, in Crooksville. She is survived by daughters, Christina (Richard) Rose of Roseville, Roxanna K. Wolfe of Zanesville, and Carolyn (John) Miller of Roseville; grandchildren, Jason (Kasie) Rose, Wesley Wolfe, Michael Shipley; great grandchildren, Jason M. Rose and Zayden Wolfe; Several step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Merlyn was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Wolfe; daughter, Regina Shipley; grandchild, Matthew Wolfe; brother, Harold Elson and sister Dorothy Corder. Friends and Family may call Monday September 4, 2017 from 5 pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at Grace Chapel Church, 515 Keystone Street, Crooksville with Pastor Nancy Ellers officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Stovertown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Grace Chapel Church, 515 Keystone Street, Crooksville, Ohio 43731.
