Melva June Embrey, 89, of Newark passed away at her residence Thursday, November 26, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 28, 1926 in Hammondsville, Ohio to the late Forrest and Saretta "Mae" Wright Lingenfelter Mount. Melva was a nurses aide and a home skills educator at Vanguard School.  She was a member of the Eastern Star in Crooksville and Waters Edge Assembly of God in Newark. Melva is survived by her sons, Robert Lee (Frances) Embrey of Crooksville and Keith Embrey of Newark; Daughter,  Sandra (Dan) Neuhart of Dacula, GA; Brother, James (Pat) Lingenfelter; Grandchildren, Eric Embrey, Nicole (James) Adair, Amy (Nick) Morgan, Brieann (Tyler) Swinks, Miranda (Demarist) Evans, Miriah (Rodney) Porter, Zachery Embrey; Great Grandchildren, December, Reagan, and Baylee Embrey, Liam, Katie Beth Adair, Tybee Ann, Vera Mae, Ella Layne Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Embrey; and Brother, Arnum Lingenfelter.  Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville Ohio from 5 pm to 8 pm and Monday November 30, 2015 from 11 am to 1 pm.  Funeral service will be held at 1 pm with James Lingenfelter officiating.  Burial will take place in Mt.
