Marlene K. Woodward, 78, of Deavertown, passed away Saturday March 27, 2021 at Genesis Healthcare after a sudden illness. Born on January 31, 1943 in Zanesville, she is the daughter of the late George and Annabelle Landerman Watts. Marlene spent most of her life as a homemaker caring for her family, tending to her dogs and as a member of the Eastern Star Carnation Chapter. She is survived by her son, Rodney W. Woodward; sister, Ethel; and several nieces and nephews. Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne R. Woodward; daughter, Nancy Woodward Newton; and sisters, Georgeann and Aunda. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to in honor of Marlene.
