Linda S. LaRue

ZEPHYR HILLS FL; Linda S. LaRue, 68, formerly of Malta, Ohio, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2015 at Gulfside Region Hospice.  She was born March 18, 1947, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late James and Elsie Gossitt McConnell.  Linda retired from the Morgan County School System as a school bus driver and custodian.  She was also owner operator of Reed's River Queen in Gaysport, Ohio. She attended several different churches in the area over the years.  She is survived by her husband, Ron LaRue; two sons, Allen (Jean) Reed and Matt (Jennifer) Reed; one daughter, Lisa (Donnie) Goins; grandchildren, Wade Reed, Tiffanee Charles, Camdon Hodge and Hollyn Reed; step-grandchildren, Jacki Wallace, Weston Moquin, Devonte, Doneeqwa and Shaneeka Goins; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Lincoln Wallace; sisters, Maisie Wilson, Alice Napora, Martha Cocherl and Jeanne Beckholt; brothers, James (Mary) McConnell, Guy (Pat) McConnell and Denny (Pam) McConnell and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Delmer and Steven McConnell; and a sister, Connie Polanski. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 North Main Street, Roseville, Ohio. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday November, 13 at the funeral home.  In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Anchor Church of Crooksville,114 Sycamore Street, Crooksville, Oh 43731-0727 or Gulfside Regional Hospice, 5760 Dean Dairy Road, Zephyr Hills, FL 33541.
