Obituary

Lawrence F. Watson, 80, of Crooksville, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster after a sudden illness.  He was born April 3, 1935 in Crooksville to the late Earl and Opal (Luster) Watson. Lawrence served our country proudly in the Army and retired from Rockwell International, where he was a member of UAW Union Local 1037.  His family was his life. Lawrence is survived by Sons, Jim (Kim) Watson of Lancaster and Donald (Penny) Watson of Roseville; Daughters, Beth Watson of Shawnee and Sue (Paul) Altier of New Lexington; Brothers, Paul Watson of Crooksville; Sisters Gloria Ann Dalrymple of Zanesville; Grandchildren, Donald (Denise) Watson, Jr., Justin Watson, Mindy Wells, Tony (Maggie) Alfman, Thomas (Jennifer) Altier, Kristen Altier,  and Tory Watson; Great Grandchildren Matthew, Dylan, Preston, Collin, Jordyn, Tyler, Olivia, Cady, Anthony, Ava and James.  A very special friend, Roger Pletcher. He was preceded in death by his wife Florabelle (LeRoy) Watson; Brothers, James Earl Watson and Jack Watson; and a sister, Mary June Crooks.
