Kaitlyn Elizabeth Grannon,18, packed her bag and went upstairs at 4:30 pm, Saturday, March 26, 2016 from Nationwide Children's Hospital, Columbus. She was born February 17, 1998 in Zanesville to Jason and Missy Inman Grannon. Kaitlyn was baptized into the Apostolic Faith and was studying as a senior at Philo High School and a student at Ohio University Zanesville. In her spare time she loved singing, reading and eating just about anything. She was an animal lover at heart and always had Knala, her faithful fur companion by her side. She is survived by her parents, Jason and Missy of Roseville; brother, Krystoffer and sister, Khadijah Grannon both of the home; maternal grandparents, Michael and Patricia Inman of Roseville; Paternal grandparents, George and Elizabeth Grannon; Aunts, Michelle Inman, Peggy Grannon and Natasha Grannon; Uncles, Matt Inman, Shane Grannon, Nathan Grannon and Franklin Grannon; Cousins, Haley Inman, Josh and Shayna Grannon, Austin O'Neal, Hannah Eversole; Life Long Best Friend, Emily and best friends, Allison and Kayla. Kaitlyn is also survived by a host of numerous other special friends and relatives and her favorite transplant nurse, Ashley. Calling Hours will be held Thursday, March 31 from 2 to 8pm at ROSS-FRASH FUNERAL HOME , 207 Burley Street, Crooksville where friends may also call from 11 am until the time of Service at 1pm Friday, April 1, 2016 with Pastor Tony Richards Officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, Roseville. The family asked that you take a moment of your time to view her "10 Things to Know About Kaitlyn Grannon" video on Youtube. This video was made 4 months ago and told by her, will help others to understand Kaitlyn's journey through her double lung transplant at the age of 9 and her life long fight with Cystic Fibrosis . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home in her memory. Envelopes will be available during visitation.
