Jean Swingle Cann passed into Eternal life with her Lord on August 10, 2015 at 12:40 p.m. She was born December 14, 1924 in Crooksville to the late Georgia Watts Swingle and Walter R Swingle. Jean graduated from Crooksville High School as Salutatorian in 1942. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church where she served as Treasurer for 28 years, was a member of Kings Daughters and Sang in the choir for many years. Jean worked at First Trust and Savings Bank for 25 years, and lastly for Higgins Lumber Co. until 2003. She is survived by her special niece and husband Christy Jean and John Totten and their sons Watt and Mike Totten who were her and Charlies Grandsons in their hearts. Also her brother James W (Sally) Swingle and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Charles M. Cann, her parents, her sisters in law Eunice Burgess, Kate Elish and Lindy Leff. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 146 N. Main Street Roseville in memory of Jean. Jean's Family would like to thank Cedar Hill Care Center for the wonderful care and compassionate staff that looked after her. Ross-Frash Funeral Home 33 N.
