Jean Ann Spears, 82, formerly of Roseville, passed away peacefully Friday January 17, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, Zanesville. She was born on January 30, 1942, to the late Elmer Leroy and Norma (Ratliff) Spears. Jean Ann spent most of her life living in various locations, with the most recent being Gentlebrook Lafayette Meadows in West Lafayette. There she found a warm and comforting environment surrounded by friends and extended family that she had the pleasure of bringing great joy to everyone that knew her. Among some of her favorite activities were shopping, playing the lottery, persuading people to give her money, but most of all, spending precious time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Susan Lori; sisters-in-law Dixie Spears and Joyce Spears; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Welcoming her into Heaven along with her parents were siblings, Carolyn K. Spears, Sammy L. Spears, Thomas A. Spears, and Joe Spears along with many other family members greeting her upon her arrival. Calling hours will be held Saturday February 1, 2025, from 1pm – 3pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 3pm with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Inurnment will conclude this May 2025, in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Roseville.
