James "Jim" Powers, 62, of Roseville, passed away Tuesday July 6, 2021, at his home. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Eleanor Powers, born on June 3, 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio. Jim worked as an auto mechanic for Bean Brake in Zanesville for over 30 years before retiring to become his mother, Eleanor's fulltime Caregiver. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by a son, Jamie (Karen Kelly) of Reynoldsville, Pa; grandchild, Peyton Powers; sister, Debra Riffle of Thornville; niece and nephew, Amy (Chad) Burnett and Brad (Jeanette) Riffle; special friends, Randy Grant and the Grant family; and fishing buddies, the Kern Family. He was preceded in death by his parents; several aunts and uncles; and a brother-in-law, Bill Riffle. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday July 14, 2021 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev.
