Obituary

Jack L. Riffle, Sr, 71, of Roseville, formerly of Crooksville, passed away at 4:17 am, Friday April 7, 2017 at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. He was born October 28, 1945 in Crooksville to the late Charles "Gib" Riffle and Hazel Adkins Riffle. Jack was employed as a coal miner with Peabody Coal Company and worked as a Heat Treatment Tech with multiple companies. He was member of the Crooksville-Roseville VFW Post 9090, New Lex Eagles Aerie 2070 and loved watching his Cowboy & Western movies. Jack is survived by his children, Tricia (Steve) Brown of Zanesville, Nathan (Kayla) Lindimore and Brittany Riffle (Jamey Brannon) of Crooksville; grandchildren, Tequilla, Kira, Jack III, Colt, Braylon, Makayle and Makreedy; sisters, Rosie Harris of North Carolina, Lucille Riffle of Crooksville; and special friends, Ron Channel and Dan German, both of Crooksville. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jack Lee "Grunt" Riffle, Jr.; five brothers and four sisters. Friends and Family may call Monday April 10, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, where sharing of Jack's Memory and Stories are encouraged. Per Jack's request, cremation has been chosen.
