Hazel Marquerite O'Rourke , 77, of Corning, formally of Lancaster, passed away March 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer at the home of her daughter Kelly. She was born May 3, 1937 in Logan to the late Merlin D. and Madeline (Nelson) Earley. Hazel retired from Anchor Hocking in 1999 after working there for 35 years and spent the following 10 years working at Dollar General in Lancaster. She is survived by sons; Danny O'Rourke of Columbus, Mike (Vickie) O'Rourke of Oklahoma, Jamey (Jackie) O'Rourke of Breman, and Shawn (Lisa) O'Rourke of Lancaster; a Daughter and primary care giver, Kelly O'Rourke-Dempsey of Corning; a sister Frances Cordle of Lancaster; Many Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Thomas J. O'Rourke Sr.; step-father Frank Moore; Children, Thomas J. O'Rourke Jr. and Kathleen Sisco; and a sister Shirley Konkler. Graveside services will be held Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Floral Hills Memory Gardens , Lancaster, Ohio.
