Gregory "Greg" Stewart, 70, formerly of Roseville, passed away peacefully at his residence in New Concord, Ohio, on February 25, 2025 after an extended illness. Born on September 14, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Robert and Dixie (Stewart) Longwell and spent his formative years in the Muskingum County area and dedicated many years of service to the Village of Roseville as a member of the Street Department. Greg was a member of the Roseville American Legion Post 71 Sons of the American Legion. He is survived by his two sons, Patrick L. Stewart and Wesley A. Stewart, 6 grandchildren, sisters, Sonya (Rodney) Ridenour and Trudy (William) Daniels. In addition to his immediate family, Greg leaves behind the mother of his children, Caroline Stewart as well as numerous members of his extended family and a community of friends who will miss him dearly. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dixie Longwell, and his brothers, Robert Stewart and Daniel Longwell. Their reunion is a comforting thought to those Greg left behind, as they imagine them together once more. In accordance with Greg's wishes, no services will be observed, and a dignified cremation will take place under the direction of Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Roseville.
