Floyd Daniel "Dan" Wood III, 60, of Crooksville, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born September 1, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Helen Blum Wood. Dan was a truck driver and could be found mushroom hunting, fishing, or hunting for game during the appropriate season. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles and riding throughout the area on any given day. He is survived by his best friend, his, soulmate of 17 years, Annette Pope Wood; sisters, Ladonna Dingmann and Susan Hanna, both of Minnesota; and Sonja Wood of Florida; son, Mark O'Brien of Minnesota; daughter, Jennifer Napper of Columbus; grandchild, Bubby Spears; Special Life Long Best Friends, Darin Ater, Dave Savage and Casey Savage of Crooksville; and numerous members of his extended family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Fuller. Friends and Family may call Monday, June 12, 2017 from 11 am to 1 pm at his residence, 20 Railroad Street, Crooksville, Ohio. Upon his final ride, graveside services will be held at Crooksville Cemetery at 1:15 pm, immediately following visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan's Memory to help the family with expenses. Envelopes will be available during visitation. After the service, everyone is invited to bring a covered dish and return to his residence for an afternoon of luncheon and fellowship in continuing to celebrate his life.
